Alexandra Ivanova ist eine in Berlin lebende österreichische Pianistin und Komponistin bulgarischer Herkunft. Während ihrer klassischen Ausbildung entdeckte Alexandra mit 16 Jahren Jazz für sich und studierte in Frankreich, bevor sie mehrere Jahre im Nahen Osten verbrachte. Ihren Stil entwickelte sie mit ihren multikulturellen Jazztrios, als Autodidakt, sowie mit ihrem Mentor Tarek Yamani. Als unkonventionelle Musikerin ist Alexandra eine Grenzgängerin zwischen Disziplinen, Kulturen und Genres der afro-kubanische und Maqam-basierten Traditionen.
In ihrer jungen Karriere tourte sie durch Ägypten, Kuba, Saudi Arabien, Deutschland und Österreich mit ihrem Trio und präsentierte ihre Musik uA im Festival Jazz Plaza Havana 2024, Cairo Jazz Festival 2023, Jazzclub Unterfahrt, Porgy & Bess Wien, Reykjavik Jazz Festival 2020 und dem Zig Zag Jazz Club Berlin. Ihr Debutalbum "Beauty in Chaos" ist in der Serie "Jazz thing Next Generation" Vol. 99 bei Double Moon / Challenge Records erschienen.

Budapest born Peter Somos started working professionally at the age of 14. He's a summa cum laude graduate of the Codarts University, Rotterdam.
He’s worked with artists such as Casey Benjamin, Mahesh Vinayakram, Nadishana, Sharrie Williams, Besh o droM, Krzysztof Scieranski, Machito Crespo, Nedyalko Nedyalkov, etc.
He's played on festivals like Sziget (HU), Exit (SR), WOMADelaide (AUS), Meskie Granie, Jamboree, Opener' (PL), Sudtirol Jazz (IT), JodhpurRIFF, Kolkata Jazz (IN), Shanghai World Music (CN), Jeju World Music (KR), Nebraska Crossroads (US), Dubai Blues (UAE) etc.

Roz Macdonald is a double bass player from Ayr, Scotland, who has been based in Berlin, Germany for a number of years.
Known for her versatility, she frequently performs across Germany and throughout Europe, gaining recognition both as a band-leader and a sought after side-woman. Roz has collaborated with many notable international artists including Chris Cheek, Bruce Barth, Scott Hamilton, Tracye Eileen and many more.
In 2022 she released her debut album 'Make Do' with her own trio in Berlin and has recently been composing and preparing to record a second album under her own name.
Roz is equally at home with playing jazz as she is with classical, folk and pop music.
